on monday night we re-watched a conference talk by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin, Come What May, and Love it. it was very fitting for us to hear and reminded me that everything has a purpose and that we should enjoy it while we go through it. i feel very blessed. Alex and i have had some very exciting things happen to us lately and i would be ungrateful if i didn't express my appreciation. Heavenly father truly has a plan for everything and it works! i am so grateful for the inspiration our church leaders have been given to encourage family home evening. i know that it works and unites our family. i hope we can keep at it and continue it on when we do have a bigger family as well. i love the gospel so much. just thought i'd share!
have a good day!
after we shared 3 yummy cookies and Farr's ice cream from Cuttlers. i love cookies.

Good on you guys! I loved that talk too. We've listened to it a couple times since he gave it too. That's awesome you guys are getting into the habit now so it'll be easier when your family IS bigger because it'll be a normal thing and not something you have to introduce then.
My family hardly ever did it when I was growing up so when my mom did try, none of us cooperated. Not to mention the fact that the activity was ALWAYS yard work! lol!
What a good habit to start! Love ya girl! You're such a great example :)!
