Oahu, Hawaii.

on this island we spent the most time on Waikiki beach! the water feels like a warm bath and it is full of people. we rented a boogie board and had a lot of fun riding small waves. the next day we got 2 surf boards and were not so successful ha. Alex got up just fine but i mostly just hung out on the board and enjoyed the sun. we had a great time though staying on the beach, it was nice that our hotel was right there. we did a lot of shopping and eating out on this island. it was definitely a change from Kauai. we also went to Pearl Harbor, which i am very glad we did. i think everyone should see it. we were very sad to leave Oahu but felt like we did everything we wanted to. next time we want to try Maui because it is a mix of the 2 islands we went to.
i hope that everyone gets a chance to go to Hawaii, there really is no where else like it.

views from our hotel room and gift. it was a nice surprise when we walked into our room. we had such a great time!

he is so cute! i'm a very lucky wife. seriously love him so much!

i really like this sign. it pretty much sums up how we should all think about Pearl Harbor and any soldier really.

we were able to go to Pearl Harbor and see the Missouri and the submarine. it took almost 4 hours but it was worth it! it's pretty incredible all that they went through. the submarine is so small, narrow and stuffy. grateful we were able to see it.

BEACH time! were we spent most of our time playing :)

night time was so fun. it was very similar to Las Vegas...where there is a ton of people on the strip...shopping, entertainment and great food! on this night we went back to our room after eating dinner and just sat on the balcony, it was so warm and peaceful.

our last night we went out on a special date night...which composed of a delicious dinner at Cheesecake factory, shopping, beach walking and treat at the hotel. it was perfect. when we looked back at these pictures we just kept laughing at how much i wash out Alex in all of our pictures..poor guy!

goodbye breakfast...and then we left for Utah, just the 2 of us while the in laws were headed back to the beach.
it was all we hoped it would be and more. i am so glad we chose Hawaii. you should go, it really is worth the money for all the memories and experiences you get!
