graduation day for me was so much fun! i have been done since December and have been really looking forward to walking. i woke up to a sweet gift from Alex that i loved! then we left early to make it to the first ceremony in Logan. i was excited to do the USU tradition of walking from the middle of campus (the quad) to the spectrum. it's such a unique thing and really was so great. all the families and friends were lined up on the sides taking photos. and of course i had my husband there to support me. it was such a sweet day.
after the first ceremony we went and grabbed lunch from one of our very favorites, Old Grist Mill and took it up on campus. we always love going back there and remembering all the fun we had when we were Dating and married! after we ate and walked around campus we met up with our parents and attended the 2nd ceremony/ graduation. it was fun to be with my friend Aubrey and also graduate with some Alex's best friends, Ryan and Kevin.
i am so grateful for everyone who came! I love my parents and in-laws so much! i know that i only finished because of Alex. he was there for me encouraging me on all of those very late nights of studying, hard tests and loads of homework. he would always stay up with me at night and wait till i was finished so we could go to bed together. something we have always done. whenever i had too much to do he would clean up the house and help with dinners to take away the stress i had. needless to say i am so glad to be done and be a much better wife!
