I admire my husband, you'll see why. This is what his day went like yesterday...
6:45am-3:00pm-
Did his training at the Hospital (which ends this Friday! Then he'll work 11am-7pm-much better!)
3:30pm-
Came home and relaxed for 2 hours.
5:30pm-10:30pm
Got called in to ump 2 baseball games(he already did one night this week too)
10:30pm-
relaxed for 30 minutes.
11:05pm- 3:30am
Got called into the operating room-a guy broke his femur (Alex works full time for the hospital but does one night a week on call from 11pm to 7 am)
3:30am-
returned home we went to bed together
3:40am-
got called in back to the hospital
6:30am-
he finally came home to sleep for 3 hours then went back to the hospital for work at 11am.
In total of the whole day he spent only 2 and 1/2 hours relaxing, 3 hours sleeping and around 19 hours working!! Crazy. This is why I admire him, he didn't mind and didn't complain. He is such a hard worker!! He says he likes the adrenaline rush and excitement of it. Luckily when he is on-call they pay time and a half plus each time you're called in you get a big bonus, so it's worth it! So far he is loving his job, which makes me very happy! ha Everything just happened to fall on the same day this week, next week he will be done with training and will work a regular schedule Monday through Friday from 11am to 7pm, with one night of being on-call.
He is so cute... in spite of all this craziness, he wants to do a date night this weekend, can't wait!
