Spiritual Weekend

This was such a great weekend. It started off by my mother in law -Shonagh and I going to the Timpanogos temple together Thursday afternoon. I love her so much, she is so sweet and is such a good example of a Christ like person. We always have a good time. Then Alex and I were invited to go to the Mormon Miracle Pageant in Manti, Utah with our good friends from Logan...the Gooch's and the Luce's!! We were very excited to see them again! And neither of us had seen the pageant or had been to the Manti temple. Lucky for us they had the trip all planned out. They were able to go to Manti earlier Friday afternoon to set up and we came after Alex got off work. We got there and met up at the pageant. It was SO good and such a cool thing to see. The whole pageant is done at night on the hill of the temple! It's so pretty. And there were so many people there, a guy later told us they set up 13,000 chairs! And it was that full! After the pageant we went with our friends to set up our tent and relax for the night. Then Saturday morning we all woke up, made breakfast, relaxed and played a few good games of uno ha! After the game we started cleaning up our camping stuff and changed into church clothes because we were going to do a session at the Manti temple. Ha it was a funny site to see all of us cleaning the camp ground in dresses and slacks. Anyway we left and went to Gandolfo's for lunch, our favorite and then headed to the temple. It was such a pretty temple, and it was a live session which was very exciting to us because we had yet to see one. After we took pictures and left to get ice cream to cool off from the hot day. Then we headed back home Saturday night. We are so glad we went, it was such a great trip! If you get a chance to go to the show I definitely recommend it!
